They work every major muscle group in the entire body.
It's not a sissy concentration curl. Deadlifts are a bread and butter exercise for building strength and size.

    Ever seen a "small" powerlifter?

Yeah like NVS already said they incorporate every major muscle group which in turn will recruit then the most amount of fiber to perform the work which causes such large amounts of growth all over. There great and a must.

As NVS said, they work your body...and it will increase your strength in all your other lifts. stick with them and you will reap the rewards of doing them.

Just make sure your form is very good otherwise over time, bad form will result in injury

Deadlift is great. It gives you a massive appearance. Try still-legged deadlift too, great for glutes and lower back.

I think anyone who don't deadlift -if no physical troubles prevent it- is not really training.
