Hello, I am in the middle of a andropen 550mg aweek and deca 500 mg aweek cycle and want to take some HCG. I have 5000iu amps and want to know how much to take. Is 35ius every 5 days a good amount or not. I read that doing HCG in the middle of your cycle is a good thing to do. I am 30 yrs at 6 ft 4 and 245lbs.

I see people all the time automatically using HCG just b/c they did a cycle. HCG should ONLY be used when needed. It is NOT something you need to use in every cycle. If you have no testicular shrinkage or are not shut down very hard from a heavy or long cycle (this is when HCG should be used DURING), then you should be fine with just Nolva or clomid. Your cycle is a very mild cycle bud at 500mg of test and deca per week. Why don't you see how you recover from Nolv or clomid first before you decide. Why use another compound in your body when you dont need to. Plus HCG can throw some additional estrogen from the administration and also impede your recovery in some. Find out what makes you recover first then decide whatis the best method for you and based on what type of cycle you did. This is just my 2cents. Have some on hand if you want but don't always think you need HCG b/c you are doing a PCT. Not true at all. I have only used HCG once in 8 cycles and that was b/c I ran Tren and Test for a long time.

I like to use 250iu 2X EW when doing a moderate to heavy cycle...seems to allow PCT to go better for me.

I don't agree with that and there are many studies to go along with it...IF you wait till your nuts are shrunk then, its harder to get things rolling again..

Bump that, why wait till your nuts are raisons before you use HCG, once they are shut down it is much harder to get them to respond to PCT. Never let them shut down, do 500iu every 3-4 days from week 3 all the way up to pct, then just use nolva/clomid for pct.

All clinical studies point to never letting the leydig cells to shut down... once they shut down it's much harder to recover... Shut down actually start soon after the cycle begins so the sooner you start HCG the better... Wait no longer then 4-5weeks to start... sooner is much better... Clinical studies also show that when taking HCG estrogens stay in the low normal range so the extra estrogen is minimal and you should be taking an AI anyway when you take test doses over TRT amount...

Okay so do I stay on HCG at this dose till the end of my cycle?

Yes, 250-500 2X week till the last shot, but not after..after start your clomid/nolva
