I did some search for cortisone shots but it doesnt seem right for the condition.
Any ideas or past things youve done when this has happend?

A friend of mine did the prolotherapy on his back and it helped quite a bit. I think it took 13 or so treatments though.

I'd try rotator specific exercises if the pain is not too intense, other wise go see an ortho that specializes in sports medicine.

You know, I don't understand. I had an orthpaedic surgeon tell me he could give me cortisone injections periodically or give me an arthrogram (dye injected in shoulder) and an MRI to get to the bottom of my pain. I took the arthrogram and MRI. He said I had a partial rotator cuff tear and anytime that was convenient for me I could have surgery to repair it. That was a while back when it really bothered me. I slacked on lifting for awhile and finally got back into it. It doesn't seem to hurt me much at all anymore (maybe a slight nag once in a while). Before, any pressing movement would hurt. Now, it doesn't bother me at all with the same or more weight.
Is it possible for a rotator cuff to heal on its own? Or was I misdiagnosed?
