i have been doing alot of delt shots with my igf for the site enhancement and in my left delt now there is a small lump..it isnt red or streakin,no fever,no pain but still a lump none the less..it has me worried that it could be an abcess..it does hurt a tiny tiny bit if i apply pressure to it and tonight i went to do a shot around there and i couldnt push the liquid out of the pin,moved the spot over a bit and was fine..whatcha think? i am leanin towards scar tissue but it still has me worried..also what are some good meds to keep on hand to stop a infection? thanks

Are you sure it is not just a reaction to the ba backing back up under the skin? I tried shooting igf sub Q the first few times and the ba left some hard little nodules for about a week.

Bro, I am curious, are you injecting IGF into the muscle?

I'd say combo of scar tissue/ba. The past two injects I've done with IGF have been in my thighs and they've both left small lumps. The one I did yesterday I had to push REALLY hard to start, then the rest went in( I have lots of scar tissue from injecting there alot in the past). Of course, it hurts today because of that!! Keflex is a good antibiotic to have on hand, its really cheap and readily available at online vet sites.

Sometimes when injecting in the muscle with a 1/2" pin it will still back out in to the sub Q tissue causing pain and knotting.
