HCG Inject Burned??

Just tried to do my first hcg subq inject. Pinched some skin on my belly and inserted pin just under the skin. When I started pushing the liquid in, the burn was terrible and I pulled out after only 1 unit. Is this normal? Im using 1/2" inuslin needles. Can I just go into the shoulder or is the pin to short?

The hcg was cold of course since it was in the refrig all night...Is this what caused the burning sensation? Can I warm it up? Need some help please.

You must be confusing the cold as a burn... shoot it on the outside of your leg next time... or hit the muscle if you are lean enough

Can I let it warm up to room temp or does it have to be shot straight out of the refrig?

You can let it warm up or just shoot it on the outside of the leg and you wont feel a thing

Ill try outside the leg..I am lean enough to hit the muscle even with the short pin...is that what i should do or are you suggesting I do subq on the ouside of the leg? Or either will work?

grabbed a chunk of skin on the top of my knee lol...Worked fine

Yeah now that I did it im wondering what the absorbtion rate will be....Theres not any fatty tissue there.

Im also curious how long it takes for hcg to get absorbed into the body once injected. If I were going to have adverse side effects would it happen within 10 or 15 mins after injection? Or could it take hours?

I do all my HCG IM cause I here that is how all the studies ore done and that is the best way to absorb into your system. I use a 25g 5/8" in my quad no pain what so ever.
