When purchasing protein powders I generally buy ones that are high in calorie(800's)and in protein(30-50grams). Today I opted to go with a low cal (90cals) mid range protein (23grams). I can double scoop for 46 per drink and at 3X a day that is 138 grams of protein from drinks alone per day.(Not counting the post workout one at the gym plus from regular meals). I am more concerned with protein to feed muscles rather than cals from fat etc. so I am guessing this was a decent decision???
Also, I found a protein that is timed released in order to absorb all 80 grams. Has anyone heard of this and does that sound legit? I know that there are issues with an individuals ability to absorb all of the protein taken in for one day so I thought that might be an option. Any input is appreciated.
