Hi, I'm building a site which aims to be the first definitive worldwide database of gyms... This is a hobby site so absolutley no commercial side to it.

The idea is that when travelling away from home you can go to this site and find a local gym and all the info you'll need to know whether it's right for you (day rates, equipment, supplements avaialble etc). All the gyms on the site have been recommended so if you know any good gyms that I should add let me know and I'll give the gym a page on the site - again there is no charge for the gyms, this is meant to be a service for serious gym users...check it out at www.gymvisit.com.

Koh Samui Thailand - Samui fitness in Lamai Beach is an open-air gym which I found really cool. Not over-stocked with equipment, but just enough for an 'on vacation' workout.

There are several great gym in Utah. I would say the best but most expensive is life time fitness. Pretty much every Gold's Gym here in Utah are really good. They are perfect for just about any type of person. They are high tech with cardio cinemas and lots of free weights. There are alot of Gold's gym here in Utah so you can usually find one nearby where ever might be here in Utah. And did I mention that the gym in Utah are usually huge!! It must be because land is cheaper and more of it versus places like Florida where space is limited.

Better Bodies in Westminster Colorado. Been workin out their for years. Great gym, nothing too fancy but a ton of equipment. Westminster is just outside Denver.
